Elected teacher, Leinster, Post-Primary, Voluntary

Christy Maginn was elected to the Teaching Council in the Leinster (Voluntary) Post-Primary constituency. A graduate of the Dublin Institute of Technology, the University of Dublin, and the Open University, Christy teaches Physics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Science at St. Declan’s CBS in Cabra, Dublin 7. This is his third term on the Council. He says the key aspect of his role is protecting the interests of teachers in every arena.
