The Teaching Council accepts applications from newly qualified Primary and Post-Primary teachers who qualified in Ireland. Applications begin in the final year of the teacher education programme. See Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) in Ireland.
Applicants must first meet the registration requirements set out in the Teaching Council [Registration] Regulations 2009.
