Queries related to pay or terms of employment
If your query relates to pay or terms of employment, please contact the Department of Education and Skills on 090 648 36 00. The Teaching Council has no remit with regard to such queries.
Appointments
If you are planning on visiting the office of the Teaching Council to submit an application, supporting documentation or to discuss registration, please note than an appointments service is in place.

Telephone hours
The Teaching Council is open during normal office hours. During periods of high volume activity, the hours for incoming telephone calls may be restricted so as to allow staff to prioritise the processing of applications as efficiently as possible. The current hours for incoming telephone calls are as follows:
Monday – Friday,
9.00am – 10.30am
2.00pm – 4.30pm
