Meet Teaching Council staff
The 2015/2016 school year will see the Teaching Council meeting teachers and members of the public at a series of open meetings. Meetings will take place in Athlone, Cork, Donegal, Dublin and Limerick.
These meetings will give the audience the opportunity to hear about the Council’s work in promoting professional standards in teaching, and to share their views. Topics covered will include Fitness to Teach, Garda Vetting, CPD, Droichead, meeting conditions of registration and election to the Teaching Council.
The meetings will take place from 7-8.30pm on:
- Wednesday, 14 October in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Athlone. Register to attend the Athlone meeting.
- Wednesday, 21 October in the Rochestown Park Hotel, Douglas, Co Cork. Register to attend the Cork meeting.
- Wednesday, 4 November in the Millpark Hotel, Donegal. Register to attend the Donegal meeting.
- Wednesday, 11 November in the Clarion Hotel, Liffey Valley, Dublin. Register to attend the Dublin meeting.
- Wednesday, 18 November in the Castletroy Park Hotel, Limerick. Register to attend the Limerick meeting
