Research Webinar with Professor Thomas Guskey

On 25 January at 8pm, we host our next Wednesday Webinar with Professor Thomas Guskey.

Under the banner, From teaching to learning, and back again – Making the journey of professional learning, the webinar will be interactive in format, providing attendees with opportunities to learn about Professor Guskey's thinking on this area. Professor Guskey will encourage teachers to reflect on what professional learning is and means for them, and will explore ways in which they can work out whether the learning experience has been of benefit.

Fr. Paul Connolly of the JMB said recently – "We teachers are learners too." As a Council we are seeking to recognise teachers' learning in the many different ways in which it happens, formal and informal. We also want to support teachers in ensuring that the time they spend learning is worthwhile, for them and their students. In this context, the webinar with Prof. Guskey is a great opportunity to reflect on and discuss your own learning journey, with one of the most innovative thinkers on teachers' learning. We look forward to your participation.
