A national consultation event took place in Mullingar on 24 September in relation to Cosán, the proposed framework for teachers’ learning. More than one hundred representatives of the various stakeholder bodies were in attendance on the day. Following a very lively discussion, the Teaching Council received a large volume of written feedback which is currently being collated and analysed. Stakeholders were invited to request follow-up bilateral meetings if they wished and we look forward to hearing from them in this regard.
