FÉILTE is the Teaching Council’s annual Festival of Education in Learning and Teaching Excellence which celebrates the wonderful work that teachers do every day in their classrooms and gives teachers the opportunity to collaborate and share this work with each other and with the wider public.

FÉILTE 2018 will take place at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick on Friday, 5 October and Saturday, 6 October 2018.

The theme for this year's festival is 'Life-long learning: Making a difference!' We encourage teachers from all sectors - primary, post-primary and further education to come along and get involved, whether through taking a showcase, hosting a workshop, or participating in Teachmeet. Attendees will have a two-day festival for the first time - FÉILTE 2018 opens at approximately 6.00pm on Friday evening with a keynote speech from Davy Fitzgerald, a panel discussion, Researchmeet, Rang Bianca and Teachmeet!
