Being a Teacher is about Becoming a Teacher

Stories about stepping into teaching as a newly qualified teacher have been captured in previous Féilte events. This year we are taking an additional step by celebrating and sharing stories in the form of research undertaken by NQTs while studying to become teachers. These activities are captured by posters designed by students representing a range of topics from a range of HEIs. The event will be of interest to all as teachers new to the profession show the interplay between research and practice and how stepping into teaching involves stepping into research.

Being a teacher is about becoming a teacher. Come and join us and hear what students have discovered and what remains to be discovered as they continue their journey of teaching, learning and researching across the teacher continuum.
