The Teaching Council's research webinars follow a variety of formats from panel discussions to presentations by guest lecturers. They usually take place on Wednesday evenings at 8 p.m., and a complete schedule is available below. All webinars are also recorded and all previous webinars can be viewed on this website here.

16 October 2019 - Digital Technology in Our Schools: Learning from Research and Practice

16 October, 8.00-9.00 p.m. - Joint Teaching Council and Professional Development Service for Teachers (PDST) Research Webinar on the theme of Digital Technology in Our Schools: Learning from Research and Practice. This will take the form of a panel discussion, chaired by the Teaching Council's Director, Tomás Ó Ruairc, and involving:

6 November, 8.00-9.00 p.m. - Joint Teaching Council, Junior Cycle for Teachers' (JCT) and National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) Research Webinar on the theme of Exploring Perspectives on Assessment – Learning from Research and Practice. This webinar will take the form of a panel discussion, chaired by the Teaching Council's Director, Tomás Ó Ruairc, and involving:
