The Teaching Council's research webinars follow a variety of formats from panel discussions to presentations by guest lecturers. They usually take place on Wednesday evenings at 8 p.m., and a complete schedule is available below. All webinars are also recorded and all previous webinars can be viewed on this website here.

December 2018

5 December, 8-00-9.00 p.m. "Student Engagement". This will take the form of a panel discussion, chaired by the Teaching Council's Director, Tomás Ó Ruairc, and involving:

  • Dr Anne Moriarty (teaching principal at St. Aiden's National School, Monasteraden, Co. Sligo)
  • Dr Emer Ring, (Head of the Department of Reflective Pedagogy and Early Childhood Studies at Mary Immaculate College (MIC) Limerick)
  • Michael McGroarty (Post-Primary Teacher at Loreto Community School, Milford, Co. Donegal)
  • Lauren Carr (Leaving Cert student at Loreto Community School, Milford, Co. Donegal)
  • Adam Graham (Leaving Cert student at Loreto Community School, Milford, Co. Donegal)
