Riverside Barbeque and Sharing Stories with Andy Hargreaves

FÉILTE opened on Friday, 27th September with an exclusive event for 200 teachers! Attendees entered a draw when reserving their FÉILTE ticket to win a chance to attend a free barbeque and evening of Sharing Stories with Andy Hargreaves, facilitated by Chris Chapman. This took place in SULT Bar in NUI Galway.  It was followed by the popular Teachers Got Talent, hosted once again by Eurovision winner Paul Harrington.

Keynote Speakers - Saturday

Andy Hargreaves delivered the opening keynote address on Saturday morning.

Unfortunately, our closing keynote speaker Katherine O'Leary, was taken ill and was unable to be at FÉILTE. She was replaced by Finn Ó Murchú, the Head of Education at MIC, Thurles, who led a keynote panel discussion on Inclusive Education.

Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin was due to return as MC for FÉILTE on Saturday, 28th September, but unfortunately she was ill on the day, so she was replaced by Tomás Ó Ruairc, director of The Teaching Council.
