FÉILTE is the Teaching Council's annual Festival of Education In Learning and Teaching Excellence. It's a celebration of teaching and learning and gives teachers the opportunity to collaborate and share their work with each other and with the wider public.
FÉILTE 2021 took place on Saturday 2nd of October and our festival theme was Transforming Teaching in a Sustainable World.
We were delighted to have Roddy Doyle, former teacher, co-founder of the Fighting Words charity, and author of 12 novels as the opening keynote speaker for this year’s FÉILTE. He has written for TV, big screen and stage. He has also written seven books for children, including The Giggler Treatment and Brilliant.
