The Teaching Council has developed curricular subject requirements for the new post-primary subjects of Lithuanian, Mandarin Chinese, Polish and Portuguese. These requirements will come into effect from 1 January 2023 for applicants applying for registration with the Council. The requirements are now in effect for the purposes of Initial Teacher Education (ITE) programme accreditation.
