On 1 May 2019 the Council launched the third round of the Research Support Framework making €100,000 available for teachers and others engaging in and with educational research.
Applications were accepted under round three of the framework from 1 May to 20 June 2019 and 37 applications were received by this date. 24 projects were selected for funding, and awards were made at an event which took place on 10 December 2019 in Dublin. The John Coolahan Research Support Framework marks the immense contribution of Professor John Coolahan to the field of education at home and abroad. His work, life and energy are an inspiration for all who care about teaching, learning and research.
