On 22 March 2018 the Council launched the second round of the Research Support Framework making €100,000 available for teachers and others engaging in and with educational research.
Applications were accepted under round two of the framework from 22 March 2018 to 5 June 2018 and 58 applications were received by this date. 18 projects were selected for funding, and awards were made at an event which took place on 11 December 2018 in Dublin. The John Coolahan Research Support Framework marks the immense contribution of Professor John Coolahan to the field of education at home and abroad. His work, life and energy are an inspiration for all who care about teaching, learning and research.
