Happy World Book Day 4th March 2021
Welcome,

We are delighted to issue this year’s ezine to mark World Book Day on 4 March. This edition contains links to a selection of ebooks from the Council’s eBook collection which we hope will support your learning. The ebooks align with the Learning Areas set out in Cosán, the National Framework for Teachers’ Learning. Because teaching is complex, the breadth of teachers’ learning is extensive, and the six learning areas in Cosán have been broadly defined in order to capture that breadth. They are as follows:
  • Leading Learning
  • Wellbeing
  • ICT
  • Inclusion
  • Supporting Teachers’ Learning
  • Literacy and Numeracy
We hope the selection of ebooks below offers you a flavour of the array of freely available content in our online library, which serves to complement and support the incredible work ongoing in our schools nationwide. Just click on a book title to view a short summary about the book, then start reading for FREE via our online library. Links to the eBooks are included in each article. To access the eBooks, you must first login to the Online Library here, using the username and password which you use to view your registration details. You then click on the red box ‘Access to Education Journals’ at the bottom left of the screen.

Happy Reading!
