Fees

Fees are processed on receipt of an application. This does not constitute acceptance or approval of an application.

The fees which may be charged by the Council, as approved by the Minister for Education in accordance with the Teaching Council Act, 2001, are as follows:

Restoration to the register	€90
Inspecting Register or providing copy or extract of an entry	€10 (See note 1)
Issue of a replacement Registration Certificate	€15
Letters of Professional Standing	€25
Qualification Recognition – Initial application	€200
Qualification Recognition – Extra subjects (Post-primary only)	€100
Review of Decision	€50 (refundable if successful)
Review and accreditation of programmes of initial teacher education	€5,000

Note 1 – There is no charge for teachers seeking information regarding their own registration particulars
