On 2 June 2020 the Council launched the fourth round of the Research Support Framework making €100,000 available for teachers and others engaging in and with educational research.
Applications were accepted under round four of the framework from 2 June to 16 July 2020 and 52 applications were received by this date. 25 projects were selected for funding, and awards were made at an online event which took place on 16 December 2020. The John Coolahan Research Support Framework marks the immense contribution of Professor John Coolahan to the field of education at home and abroad. His work, life and energy are an inspiration for all who care about teaching, learning and research.
