Clerical Officer
The Teaching Council is inviting applications for the role of Clerical Officer. A panel will be formed to fill vacancies at this level, across departments within the organisation. The panel will remain in place for 12 months and may be extended to 18 months.
The Clerical Officer position is an operational role within the organisation and involves working as part of a busy team. As Clerical Officer you may engage in a range of activities including verifications of applications, reviewing, and coordinating quality assurance processes, procurement support, supporting Panel, Committee and Council meetings, reception duties, general administration and customer service management in order to ensure the smooth operation of our daily activities. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the Public Sector and would suit a person starting out in their career or returning to the workforce.
The Teaching Council offices are conveniently located in Maynooth Business Campus with free parking available. Staff enjoy the security of permanent pensionable employment and incremental pay. Annual leave entitlement for the role as Clerical Officer is 22 days and the Teaching Council operates a flexi-time policy. Hybrid working is available subject to completion of successful probation.
