Further update on our new and enhanced My Registration portal

We are currently transitioning to a new online My Registration portal which will provide you with an enhanced service for registration processes from 14 October 2021.  

To facilitate staff training and data migration, from 7 to 12 October 2021 (inclusive) all registration related processes including the current My Registration portal are offline. During this time, we are unable to reply to emails and our phone lines are unavailable.

During the transition period, the registration IT system is not available to staff and we are unable to upload documentation or adjust registrations.

If you are submitting an application for registration, qualifications assessment, vetting/re-vetting, Droichead, an extension request or renewing your registration, we kindly ask that you re-submit your documentation via the online My Registration portal. This portal will be available on the Council’s website from 14 October 2021.

If you are seeking information on any registration related process, please refer to the website after the 14 October 2021. If the information you require is not on the website please re-submit your email after that date.


From 14 October 2021 onwards, registered teachers will be contacted by email and asked to activate their personal My Registration accounts on the new portal. This should be done without delay, ensuring you can continue to access your registration information and use the new streamlined services.


The new My Registration portal will be available 24 hours a day, from 14 October 2021, and will allow you to track your registration application/documentation. The new and enhanced My Registration portal will provide full online end-to-end solutions for processes such as new applications for registration, re-registration, vetting, re-vetting, Droichead, renewal of registration, change of details, adding a new qualification or subject, and extension requests. 

Please be assured that no teacher will be removed from the Register for non-payment during the switchover period.


As we transition to the new My Registration portal we kindly ask that you bear with us while we implement this major change to our IT system.
