The Teaching Council introduced an online registration portal in October 2021.
This My Registration portal provides full end-to-end solutions for registration processes. The online portal is currently available in English only. However, we are currently developing the Irish version of the portal which we anticipate will be available in mid-2023.
In the meantime,
- If you wish to apply for vetting in Irish, please contact vettingliaison@teachingcouncil.ie to request a copy of the NVB1 form (Irish version) by post or by email. Alternatively, you can download a copy of the NVB1 form (Irish version) below.

- If you wish to apply for renewal of your registration in Irish, you can download the Irish renewal form below or you can input your details in Irish on the English side of the My Registration portal.
